These international airfares are generally for a short duration and change often. International flights are on selected airlines and the cheap airfares are on limited seating availability. It is best to be as flexable with the dates for your international flights as possible to get cheap airfares. Be prepared to overnight in route for destinations that are further away such as Europe and many points in Asia to obtain cheap airfares. International airfares in many cases require that you have a passport valid for as much as six months after the completion of your scheduled flights. In addition, you may be required to show that you have sufficient funds to defray the cost of your visit. Visas and in some cases innoculations are required for some Southeast Asia countries. Advanced purchase may be required for lowest fares on international flights and travel on weekdays Monday thru Thursday in most cases is required. International flights are very seasonal and the seasons may not coenside with our seasons here in Hawaii.
